Three Sisters

The original organization, Northwest Classical Theater Company, was founded in 1998 by Artistic Director Grant Turner and produced more than 60 well-known plays, primarily at the Shoebox Theater in Portland, Oregon, which was performed by their resident company of actors.
When Turner departed in 2015, NCTC expanded their organizational model from producing classical plays in traditional theatrical spaces located in Portland to artistically engaging ALL audiences throughout the state of Oregon. At the forefront of our new mission is to serve those who have been traditionally deprived of cultural opportunities. The name was changed from Northwest Classical Theatre Company to Northwest Classical Theatre Collaborative to reflect our new direction.
